William Penn looked the other way as millions gathered Friday to celebrate the Philadelphia Phillies’ World Series victory behind him.At the center of the city, underneath the shining marquees in Philadelphia’s theater district on Broad Street, thousands walked together and pushed through cracks of daylight as they tried, as best they could, to get a good view of the parade.
